This Mini Cooper was originally bought by Eddie Izzard in 1995. Then Wood & Pickett Mini Centre brought the car where it was, stripped, repaired (where necessary), rebuilt and modified. where it was then used as W&P`s demonstrator from 2001-2013, so has many added parts for performance and comfort.
1293cc MPI fully rebuilt engine. reground nitro-carburised crankshaft lightened & balanced. 266 camshaft. Duplex timing gears & chain. Stage 4 cylinder head with 37mm inlets 31mm outlets. 1.5 ratio roller rockers. Electronic ignition and fuel injection. Large bore 52mm alloy throttle body with K&N high flow filter. High compression pistons fitted to balanced rods. Lightened flywheel. MPI radiator. Kenlowe electric fan. Superflow 3 into 1 LCB manifold. 3” single box exhaust with catalytic convertor.
